“Travellers collect experiences. A visit to Northumberland rewards with a diverse and intriguing selection, fit to fill many a treasure chest.”
From Hadrian’s Wall in the south of the county to the medieval town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed in the north, there is no shortage of opportunities for travellers young and old to discover Northumberland’s treasures. Visit castles steeped in history, picnic in the great outdoors or make a splash in the surf of one of Northumberland’s beautiful beaches. Whether you come for a weekend, a week or stay for a lifetime, you’ll be making memories in no time!
To celebrate this, we are launching a brand new page in our 2017 Holiday & Short Breaks Guide and we need your help!
‘My Northumberland’ will showcase everything you love so dearly about Northumberland.
From puffin-spotting on the Farne Islands to building sandcastles on Bamburgh Beach, your favourite spot in the beautiful Northumberland National Park to selfies on Hadrian’s Wall – we want to know what makes Northumberland YOURS.
Whether they were taken at events in one of our many castles, whilst exploring our breath-taking landscape or just in your back garden, we want to see them all!
Happy snapping!
Send your images to info@northumberlandtourism.co.uk and tell us where and when you took them.
The best images will be included in the new addition to our ‘My Northumberland’ page in 80,000 copies of our Holiday & Short Breaks Guide 2017.
All entries will be put into a random draw for one lucky photographer to receive a hamper of Northumbrian goodies!
