Explore the Devil’s Causeway, an ancient Roman road thought to pre-date Hadrian’s Wall. This causeway slices through Powburn during the 55-mile march from Corbridge to Berwick-upon-Tweed.

If you enjoy walking, you could visit the hidden paradise that is Branton Lakes Nature Reserve. This is a nature conservation site full of diverse habitats, plants, birds, and an abundance of other wildlife.
