Fenced patio area on the old railway platform has beautiful stone slabs and is a real south-facing suntrap, so enjoy sitting out.
We accept well behaved dogs. On a lead on the caravan park and clean up after your dog. Dog walks from the door - along the river bank to Allendale and to Oakpool start just 300m away.
Great for families, a group of friends, but if there are just two of you, ask for a discount when booking for one bedroom only.
The North Pennines has 20 dark sky discovery sites. Nearest 2.5 miles away at Allendale Golf Club. The aurora is sometimes visible in this area. We get aurora alerts and will update our facebook page. When it is clear, the milky way is visible from outside - so do get out and enjoy our dark skies.
