All our cottages are family owned and offer cosy, charming stays, close to award-winning unspoilt beaches, ancient castles, and access to stunning wildlife on your doorstep. Our cottages can accommodate 2-6 guests and 1 well behaved dog (small cost). Guillemot can accommodate 2 medium sizes dogs.
Four of our cottages are in Seahouses, the gateway to the Farne Islands, close to the harbour and within steps of the coastal path. Swallows Rest, a stunning newly built property full of light and space that take in the panoramic views, sits further inland, just west of Alnwick on the family farm. This property benefits from an electrical car charging point.
Swallows Rest offers open plan, sociable living, perfect for entertaining, with accessible wet room and ramp access.
On arrival at any of our properties you will find a welcome pack of locally sourced goodies, including, tea, coffee, jams and toiletries.
All our properties have log burners making them the perfect choice for all year-round stays.
We offer week long stays from April to November and short breaks are available from November to April.
Our cottages are decorated to a high standard with all the facilities you will need for your stay.
Seahouses is the gateway to the Farne Islands, only 4 miles from Bamburgh and the perfect location for an array of coastal villages up and down the Northumberland coastal path whether that is walking or driving. A fantastic base with an array of shops, local pubs and a tourist information centre.

Tern Cottage, Seahouses offers cosy accommodation in the heart of the harbour area, meters from Swallows smoke house. It is almost entirely on one level (with 2 steps to the bathroom and 2 steps to the kitchen.)
St. Cuthbert’s Cottage is in the heart of the harbour, a cosy bolt hole for two next to busy pubs and the coastal path.
Guillemot and
Oystercatcher offer Seahouses accommodation close to shops and the coastal path, offering cosy stays with spacious areas to meet friends and family.
