Seahouses HarbourFamous for its fantastic fish and chips and as the launching point for boat trips to the Farne Islands, it has a busy main street and a colourful harbour with spectacular views of the Northumberland coast and in the distance the magnificent sight of Bamburgh Castle. Why not stay for a week or two in a Seahouses cottage so you can make the most of this area.

The harbour is also busy with several companies offering day-long boat trips out to the wildlife-rich Farne Islands.
The trips vary in cost and length and the Tourist Information Centre, which is just off the main car park, has details of what they all offer. The town has also developed a reputation as a sailing, diving and fishing centre.
The Seahouses Festival takes place during the Summer and celebrates the North Northumberland coastline and its wildlife and maritime heritage.
Community groups, artists and historians work with local people throughout the year on a variety of projects and events which culminate in the festival weekend.
