David C,
I have stayed at the Lindisfarne Inn a few times over the service I have received is excellent, the food has been five star and I have been made feel very welcome. I am looking forward to bringing my wife and children ere in the summer to spend a couple of days with very nice people. Thank you all at the Lindisfarne Inn

The restaurant is really good, Comfortable, lovely log fire, friendly and efficient service, and good food. Local ale is worth sampling, but remember the limits in Scotland are lower than England! Next time we travel to Scotland we will plan to stop here!!

Fantastic stay

Tracy M, Stockport
We stayed here on the 10th and 11th February. We met up with friends from Scotland. From the warm welcome we got on arrival to checking out we were made to feel so welcome, what lovely friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble, the rooms were lovely, clean and comfy and so warm after been out in the cold all day. We ate here both nights and the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you to all the staff

Loved every second of our trip.

We took advantage of the winter break deal and couldn't believe the excellent value for money we got. The rooms where immaculate and clean, the bed was so comfy and the wonderful hospitality of all the team was much appreciated especially Steve the assistant manager who made our trip memorable. Nothing was too much trouble the food was amazing cooked to order and really tasty. The breakfasts just went on & on plenty tea coffee toast and the full English breakfast with choice of egg preference sets you up for the day. The bar is well stocked and the atmosphere really inviting and cosy. It's located perfect for all the places we wanted to visit and even managed a Ghost Tour at the nearby Chillingham Castle. Loved our stay so much we going back soon.

Excellent restaurant and accommodation

John P, Northumberland, U.K.
A groups of seven of us stayed here for one night during an extended walk along the Northumberland coast. The Lindisfarne is situated alongside the A1 and at the head of the road leading to Holy Island causeway. The A1 at this point is single carriageway so traffic noise is not an issue. There is also a bus stop at the adjacent garage. In this way it is ideally placed for anyone traveling through the county or visiting the region. Our accommodation was at the rear of the main building in a two storey, motel-like block. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The bar and restaurant in the main building are run by helpful and cheerful staff who are keen to ensure their customers are well looked after. There is an excellent choice of beers and real ales and wine at reasonable prices. The restaurant menu provides a good range of appetising meals and our group commented positively on the quality of the food and the service. The Lindisfarne is a member of a small chain of hotels dotted along the Northumberland and Durham coastlines which claim to focus on excellent value for money. This certainly chimed with our experience. For less than £50pppn we enjoyed a night's accommodation, an excellent two-course dinner and a wonderful breakfast all delivered by extremely pleasant and capable staff.
