Sunday Lunch

Neil P, North Queensferry, United Kingdom
We were staying at Haggerston Caravan Park and decided to pop over to the Inn for Sunday lunch. 4 adults and one child. We all had the traditional Sunday lunch option and the food was great. Service was brilliant especially the barman who made sure my pint of craft ale was perfect before serving it to me. We plan to return to the caravan park and we WILL visit the Inn again

Best Sunday lunch out for ages

Neil C, Coldstream, United Kingdom
We called in today for a Sunday lunch and we did not expect the service and quality of food what we got. Went in and were sat prompt, ordered our meals (3 Sunday lunches) and was on our table piping hot within 5 mins. Everything was cooked perfect !(usually when eating out there's always something is over cooked potatoes or undercooked veg) pudding came out and the presentation was like something out of a high end restaurant and tasted amazing again! could not fault a single thing and will be certain to return. We eat it 2 sundays of each month for lunch and by far this is the best this year!

Sunday Dinner

Jennifer K, Rowlands Gill, United Kingdom
We were travelling home from a family visit . I was absolutely desperate for a Sunday dinner I hadn't had one for weeks and don't want to have processed food . Really wanted a proper home.cooked Sunday dinner . My expectations were high after reading he reviews . When my meal arrived it looked fabulous a massive Yorkie right on top . Disappearing t quickly set in when after a mouthful I quickly realised the food was look warm at best and the gravy was actually cold and was just a thick stick suave on the bottom.of the plate . This would have been lovely if it was hot but the fact it wasn't ruined the whole experience . The food was all.home cooked like I wanted but just not hot what was such a shame . I wasn't the only one who was disappointed o could hear the people at the next table say there's wasn't hot enough either . Nothing worse than a cold meal unless it's supposed to be . Put me off going back .

Tasty evening meal

Bluerobin59, Warrington, United Kingdom
Sat in one of the comfortable booths which have seats at a reasonable height. Chose salmon fillet special with hollandaise sauce new potatoes which was light and tasty . One person had the haggis neeps and tatties which they enjoyed. With drinks for four it came to £70 . Bright and airy and very family friendly. Staff were friendly too.

£108 and NO BREAKFAST !!!!!

I chose to stay here as i was working very close and thought that for £108 per night it must be quite nice ? How wrong was i ! This place makes travelodge look posh ! Apparently if you book through you don't get breakfast included (same price at 107.95) How can breakfast not be included at this price ? My evening meal was average quality but at £14.95 for a bowl of pasta it should have been much better. MY MAIN COMPLAINT has to be the quality of bed !! I don't think I've ever had mattress feel so hard and cheap , i did consider trying to go sleep in my car at one point through the night. I also had no idea that you could buy miniature led tv's. I could only just make out the tv at the bottom of bed it was so small !! I am really disappointed with this place and will definately be driving further next time to get better accomodation.
