Tarset Tor has England’s clearest skies – making it the ideal spot from which to gaze at the stars. Tarset Tor sits within the Northumberland National Park which has collaborated with Kielder Water and Forest Park to become only the second International Dark Skies Park in Europe. The superb facility at Kielder Observatory is one of the most popular attractions in the region.
The
Bunkhouse and Bothies are modern, light and airy and are built from sustainably sourced cedar. The development uses the latest in eco-technology, incorporating a heating system derived from wood pellet stoves and electricity subsidised by solar energy.

3 Bothies sleep 8 and 2 family/couples Bothies sleep 6.
The 5-acre site sleeps up to 56 people with hook-ups and room for camping for persons who book the whole site for their special event.
On site there is a mini football pitch, wildlife pond, bird hide, sauna and a BYO woodland bar/BBQ/fire pits area.
