Join the Twice Brewed Inn for their annual Bonfire & Fireworks night, with an epic 30-minute fireworks display at 7pm.
The event field opens at 5pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks begin at 7pm. Entry is free, with no tickets required. Access is through the pub car park and garden, behind the main pub building.
Food: Milecastle Inn pizzas, bonfire burgers and doughnuts are available on the event field.
For children: there's a hook-a-duck stall, candy floss and light-up glow sticks for sale, plus an inflatable for little ones if the weather allows.
Live music: Miranda Newton plays in the outdoor tent by the fire from 6pm to 6.45pm, and Jason Arnup plays in the restaurant from around 7.45pm.
Parking: an overflow car park is available in the field almost directly opposite the pub, signposted from the crossroads beside The Sill. The field has been kindly provided by a local farmer, so please be respectful and take all rubbish home with you. The road crossing will be lit, but bringing a torch is highly recommended. Please do not park on the main roadside. Limited accessible parking for Blue Badge holders is available in the pub car park, so please arrive early.
