The Joiners Arms is your very own village inn; a haven for lovers of fresh, locally sourced food served up with a contemporary flourish and drinkers of all tastes, from crazy cocktails to comforting real ales. Plus, we're big into families, so kids get to eat, rest and play with everyone else.

The Joiners Arms Restaurant is lively, friendly and a little bit quirky, and the perfect place to hang out when you're not engaged in spectacular coastal adventures or hiding out in your luxe Northumberland boutique bedroom.

We are located in one of the UK’s most beautiful places, in the heart of a National Trust-designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which fuses the best of both worlds – spectacular countryside and a breathtaking coastal location just an hour from the metropolitan hearts of Newcastle to the south and Edinburgh to the north.

Our 5 Gorgeous boutique bedrooms are individually designed to put the luxe into luxury inns, with irresistible charms like four-poster beds, roll top baths and lots of room for love.

We’re only a couple of miles from the spectacular Farne Islands, famed for its bird life and Atlantic grey seals (boat trips from nearby Seahouses are wild and memorable!); Alnwick Castle and Gardens, home of the first two Harry Potter films; Holy Island, a little gem easily reached across a causeway (just watch the tide...), and some of the best surfing and water sports, golf, field spots, walking and country pursuits you could wish for.

We hope to welcome you to Northumberland’s most luxury Inn soon.

Great Sunday Lunch

My wife and I decided to try this venue never having been before, what we had been missing. My wife had Roast Beef (with 7 different types of veg) with Chocolate Brownie desert. To say she was impressed doesn't say all.....she didn't stop talking of her experience all the way home. I decided to try their Fish & Chips; the fish barely fitted the plate and the twice cooked Chips were devine. A truly memorable time with friendly professional Staff; Thank you Lindsey, Megan, Craig and Skye.....we WILL be back.

Lynne R,
Just had a lovely family meal here. Lyndsey was excellent securing us an early table. Food was fab with my Mums whale of a fish and chips stealing the show. Staff were helpful and attentive. Megan, Craig, Steve and Gareth looked after myself and my children throughout. Thanks

High quality and very dog friendly!

We'd been walking with our two Japanese Spitzes on the beach and decided to see if the Joiners Arms could do an early dinner and would accept dogs. The pub/restaurant was lovely inside, the dogs (and us) were given a really warm welcome and were given a table in the front area where dogs were allowed. There was a good choice on the menu with some additional specials and the food was excellent. It was so good we booked to come back and our positive experience was repeated. We've come across few places of such quality that are truly dog friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended but if you aren't going early, make sure you book!
