The Glebe is a lovely old vicarage which lies on the edge of Bamburgh village on the coast road to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Renovated to a very high standard, Glebe House will comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, Glebe Cottage four.
On Glebe House ground floor, you will find a lounge with colour TV and DVD player, shower room and toilet. The second floor has a large dining room, main bathroom and kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, standard and microwave ovens. A second TV is located on this level.
On the 3rd floor there are 4 large bedrooms and an additional toilet. A washing machine and dryer are located in a service area on the lower ground floor.
Efficient electrical heating ensures that Glebe House is always warm and comfortable. The property is a 'no-smoking' residence.
Glebe Cottage is located just behind Glebe House. With its own private patio, garden and 2 double bedrooms, it provides an exclusive accommodation for up to 4 persons. Glebe Cottage is warmed by its own oil-fired central heating system.
The cottage is well furnished, fully carpeted and cosy. In the lounge/dining room you will find a colour TV and DVD player. The modern kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, bath and en-suite toilet.
Heating and electricity, freshly laundered bed linen, duvet covers and towels are all included in the rental price. All beds are made up on the day of guests’ arrival.
Private off-road parking is provided and our lovely gardens are available for the use of our guests. We accept one household pet in Glebe House and up to two in Glebe Cottage for a reasonable extra charge.
