Whether visiting Northumberland for relaxation, adventure, scenery, beaches, wildlife, history, or walking, Amble Cast Off is ideally located. With two floors, this light and airy end-terraced house is ideal for families or a group of five friends to enjoy the busy fishing port of Amble, and to venture out on day trips around the county. The property has sea views and is adjacent to the harbour. Weekend markets, the harbour village and lobster hatchery, beaches, the pier, shops, local bars and cafes, as well as our award-winning restaurants and ice cream parlour are all a very short walk from here. Aiming for a 3*+ homely feel, we hope we offer something a little different, with an arts / crafts / music bias. There are several musical instruments available for you to play, and the possibility of piano, guitar, mandolin or ukuele tuition during your stay, plus discounts at our sister company, local craft shop Amble Pin Cushion. We also demonstrate an ethical committment to recycling and repurposing. Cast Off is a great base if you are walking the Northumberland Coastal Path, as you can catch a bus from Amble to the start of each day's walk. Well-equipped for self-catering, you could enjoy a baking "day in" with the family if it's raining, then relax in front of a film. There are ample electric sockets for the full group's devices, and various tables and lighting, allowing work on a range of different projects at one time. With the nearest beach (Little Shore) just minutes away on foot, walks, paddles, scoots and picnics need minimal planning. Our private garden with picnic bench and seating offers a place for play or relaxation, and somewhere to keep your bikes, scooters, paddleboards etc. Sleeping 5 (plus cot), there is one bathroom, and a minimum 4 night stay.
