Join us in celebrating the magic of the season with the Winter Warmers festival, featuring mesmerising, North East Combined Authority-funded events including a Festival of Flame and a captivating flock of illuminated sheep. Be wowed by other Winter Warmers events, including the Newcastle Puppetry Fesitval, and stay tuned for more surprises, as Winter Warmers has additional events and activities in the pipeline. Illuminated Sheep

At the end of the 2024 Art Trail along Hadrian's Wall, the Illuminated Sheep will shed their costumes, gather as a full flock and appear as an artwork during October. Their urban adventure will take them to to Segedunum in Wallsend, The Toffee Factory in Ouseburn Valley and Newcastle Cathedral.
