On the 16th and 17th April celebrate the arrival of Spring with our Embroidery Workshops.
Our three-hour workshops are for all experience levels, with Wendy and Stuart Findlay from Acle Early Medieval Reenactment Society guiding you through the traditional stitches and techniques that inspired their stunning embroideries now on display in our Anglo-Saxon Great Hall and Museum.
Wendy and Stuart will provide you with a Spring-inspired sampler based on the Newcastle Cross, a masterpiece of Northumbrian stone carved sculpture, to complete and take home. All equipment and materials are included, alongside tea, coffee and cake.
