The Lindisfarne Gospels, the most spectacular manuscript to survive from Anglo-Saxon England, is on display at the Laing Art Gallery from 17 September to 3 December 2022, on loan from the British Library.

Magical story telling events, a celebration of the most spectacular surviving manuscript from Anglo-Saxon England, and a yearlong festival honoring 1900 years since Hadrian’s Wall was built.
