Embleton Bay | Visit Northumberland

Low Newton by the Sea

This sweetly curving beach, with its stamp-sized grassed square and white-painted fishermen’s cottages is picture postcard pretty.

Relax with a glass of real ale brewed in the village pub’s tiny microbrewery. Watch windsurfers skim across the protected waters.  Go rock pooling in a myriad of pools or take a paddle in the shallows.

The skeletal like ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle rear upwards in the distance along from the long stretch of sand curving around Embleton Bay.
