Over 100 Food & Drink Traders One of the festivals focuses is providing the very best range of local and regional food and drink traders.
Quality is key and although we have over 100 food/drink traders we try our best to have a bit of everything, from locally distilled gin to fresh cuts of meat. The monthly Farmers Market accompanies the festival where you can find only the best local producers. Street Food Quarter A dedicated street food quarter where you can taste some of the best street food traders from the North East. Posh Pen - Sponsored by Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade A secluded drinking area where you can enjoy a glass of prosecco while listening to the live music. Park & Ride Scheme - Sponsored Northern Gas Networks As the festival began to expand and increase attendance from hundreds to thousands a Park & Ride scheme was introduced. Buses run from County Hall to Morpeth Bus Station - bringing attendees straight into the Town Centre. *New for 2019* The Vegan Hall This year Morpeth Town Hall will be transformed into all things vegan filled with local producers and traders of speciality vegan products - adding to variety the festival offers in terms of local traders and food/drink.
Sustainability Plan - Tackling Plastics More than ever; PLASTICS is a hot topic in current news and this year we are going to start building a sustainability plan and for the first year ever ban single-use plastic bags. All traders will be provided paper bags and attendees will be encouraged to bring bags along or purchase our cotton bags. We will also introduce a GREEN TEAM to police this and look at ways we can reduce our use of plastics across the whole festival.
