Pottery established in 1878. Traditional techniques used to produce unique salt-glazed pottery for the garden and the home. Visitors can see the range of historic buildings and the large coal-fired beehive kiln (probably the last in Britain) and can purchase seconds from the retail area.
New for 2013 is the fantastic visitor centre which is housed inside one of our old kilns. Now fully converted you can discover the history of pottery, the practices and the processes all under one chimney.
