Saturday 23rd August and Sunday 24th August 2025 | 12:00 - 18:00 | Rigg & Furrow
The Forage Market is back at the End Hemmel barn at Rigg & Furrow, Acklington for two days of thoughtful shopping over August Bank Holiday on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of August. They will be joined by around 50 independent makers over the two days to showcase the talented creatives we have here in the North East all carefully curated under one roof.
After a successful programme of markets which have seen over 3,000 visitors in attendance at an event, Forage founders Ellie Davison-Archer (homeware designer) and Steven Eyles (graphic designer) wanted to continue growing the events as a space for like-minded creatives and talented makers to showcase their products to an engaged audience and as part of a supportive, creative community.
The Forage Market theme for this event is Drift - Celebrating the coast. Ceramicists, designers, painters, printmakers, illustrators, jewellers, makers and artisan businesses have been selected for their use of materials, motifs and concepts that mirror inspiration from the Summer season and coastal location.
Once you’ve enjoyed the market, you can stay on the farm and visit the on site taproom which will be open for artisan brewed drinks. Treat yourself to some local street food in their rustic indoor seating area or out in the paddock itself whilst listening to relaxed DJ set.
