Alnwick Lodge enjoys a rural, picturesque, historic farmyard setting close to the A1 trunk road.
The Lodge and surrounding grounds have been home to Peter Smith since 1976, joined by Evelyn in 1994. During this period West Cawledge Park has been tastefully transformed from a dilapidated Northumbrian Farmstead to provide Alnwick Lodge.
Fifteen en-suite guest bedrooms individually decorated, ranging from single, doubles, twins, family and a magestic four poster bedroom.
Locally sourced produce including fresh fruits from the orchard, home made breads and preserves, feature in the splendid breakfast. Packed lunches and evening dinner for groups are available if ordered in advance.
Children and dogs are welcome in certain rooms.
The Lodge offers superb accommodation for private guest's, film crews and wedding parties, a unique location to host house parties tailored to your own requirements. Four public rooms set around the floral central courtyard, browse through the antique gallery and relax by the roaring log fires.
Lonely Planet recommended.
The Pavilion, vintage glamping wagons and camping are also available.
Ample parking for all types of vehicles.
