Perfectly situated at Bellingham Station the Carriages Tea Room offers a warm welcome and a unique dining experience. Passengers can enjoy a range of light lunches, freshly baked scones and homemade cakes on board the 1957 Mk 1 carriages. It is best to book a table within the Carriages to avoid disappointment as seating is limited during social distancing. We have covered outdoor seating.
The rear carriage forms part of The Heritage Centres exhibit of the history of the Wannie Line, combine a visit to Carriages with a visit to Bellinghams acclaimed small museum for an interesting day out.
The Carriages are also ideally located with ample free parking to enable visitors to enjoy a visit to the waterfall at nearby Hareshaw Linn and explore the village of Bellingham with its historic buildings and shops.
