Accessible toilets in Northumberland

Accessible toilets
Many facilities in our county are now fully equipped for disabled access. To access some older facilities, you may need a R.A.D.A.R key.

Toilets with disabled access

Recent and continuing investment has raised the accessibility of toilets within the region with the majority of facilities now equipped for disabled access. To view the opening hours and locations of public toilets please visit Northumberland County Council's website.

Some older accessible toilets still require a R.A.D.A.R. key which can be purchased from Customer Information Centres or Tourist Information Centres throughout Northumberland. Purchase of a RADAR key will allow access to national toilets participating with this scheme. There are also a few Changing Places toilets in Northumberland

Please note: some public toilets charge a small fee for use. For further information on accessible toilets please contact Northumberland County Council on 0345 600 6400.
