Friday 20 June and Friday 25 July 2025 | 9.45 am till 4.30 pm | Tiptoe Retreat
Located at Tiptoe Retreat, in North Northumberland, in the peaceful countryside, our retreat day offers you the opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired.
Pauline Beaumont, an experienced baker and author of Bread Therapy, will guide us in making soda bread and provide a recipe to take home. Making bread allows us to be creative, to practise mindfulness and helps us to slow down and feel grounded.
• Participate in a restorative Pilates class where the focus is on slow, controlled movements and stretches.
• The retreat day will make the most of the tranquil, rural setting at Tiptoe Farm, and the day will include a guided mindful walk in woodland by the River Till, where you can try the soothing art of forest bathing and learn some of the powerful life-lessons to be gleaned from nature.
• A home-cooked, wholefood lunch is provided and refreshments throughout the day.
Places are limited to five for each retreat day and will be led by BASI Pilates instructor Lucy Carroll and baker and therapist Pauline Beaumont (author of Bread Therapy – The Mindful Art of Baking Bread).
Self-catering accommodation is available on the farm if required at

The day is designed to be both practical and positive, with an opportunity to reflect on ways we can support our physical and psychological well-being.
