Eshott Hall is a truly elegant Georgian country house which offers luxurious and stylish guest accommodation. This delightful small boutique hotel is located in the heart of Northumberland only two miles from the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick.  This 17th century Hall is set within beautiful gardens and woodland in the heart of Northumberland, and has been lovingly restored to its former glory by owners Robert & Gina Parker.

The Hall offers 11 en-suite bedrooms each individually designed with sumptuous fabrics and furnishings mixing antiques with contemporary style. Reception rooms, such as the Drawing Room and Library, are ideal for relaxing and generate a feeling of being at home in this beautiful Hall.

Menus created by Head Chef, Andrew Blakey & Mark Willis, are creative using seasonal and local produce, some from Eshott Hall's own kitchen garden. The gardens and woodland surrounding the house offer privacy and tranquillity and are home to red squirrels.

Ideally located in the heart of Northumberland, Eshott Hall is close to major transport links and local attractions.

Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

tomanem, Hull
We have recently stayed at Eshott Hall for 2 nights for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! It was very easy to find off the A1 and is in a great location from which to explore Northumberland, it's amazing castles and stunning coast and countryside from. The house itself is well kept and set in lovely grounds, all the staff we met we're friendly, polite and attentive. Our room was a large room at the front of the house, it was very spacious, tastefully decorated in keeping with the building, warm, comfy and had all the extras we would need for a short stay. We had afternoon tea on arrival which was really good - lots to choose from! as was the breakfasts and evening meal - first class food cooked to perfection. We booked an evening meal for our seconds night, so the first night we ventured down the road to Morpeth (10mins away in car) where there are a selection of restaurants and cafes - so if your staying a few nights you can be a bit more adventurous. We felt very relaxed during our stay and enjoyed a bit of downtime in the lounge/library with a local beer or two when the weather turned, in fact we felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Eshott Hall is a stunning house with great service located in a fantastic part of the UK - it looks like it would make a fantastic wedding venue too!

Great Getaway

We received a stay at Eshott as a Christmas present, because we like breaks in Northumberland. What a fabulous venue, amazing food, wonderful history and most of all pleasant staff who will cater for your every need. This really is the ideal place for a relaxing weekend

Lovely stage in fabulous house

Michael B,
Booked for two nights with cheap Telegraph deal. Very nice bedroom, would have been good to be offered porter before struggling to room. Pleasant welcome for dinner. Possibly best fillet Ive had in years. Food piping hot Reasonable wine list but good red by the glass. Beautiful tasteful lounge for coffee. Similarly good meal next evening, nothing fancy but very tasty venison stew. Curiously not so hot. But no marmalade two breakfasts running. Everything else, honey, tomato sauce, Nutella but no marmalade. Lovely gardens and wonderfully notice free. Noise from second floor room until 2:30 am, possibly staff. Other than minimal moans, very enjoyable stay and will do it again.

Wonderful experience

My wife and I booked for dinner and an overnight stay and can honestly say that it was probably the best experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy. From the point of arrival we were made to feel included and at home by Margaret, a real diamond. Our room was superb, clean, warm and very well appointed and our dinner was delicious, served by charming staff in the lovely dining room. After a great night's sleep we enjoyed a sumptious breakfast, once again, attended by friendly and efficient staff. (Special touch, a cafetière of coffee to brew in the morning!) Well done Eshott Hall.....see you soon!

Anniversary stay at Eshott

Alan S,
The room was wonderful clean, large and well provisioned. The welcome was warm and friendly and all staff interactions were warm, friendly and most helpful. The decor through out was tasteful and in keeping with the country house style. The food at dinner was of a high standard and based on a menu of seven items (I like this type of menu). It was served well by an attentive staff, with no pressure rush courses - moved along at our pace. If there were any downers, which were hard to find - were the omission of a master light switch by the bed and a couple of items were cool on the first days full breakfast - changed to kippers on other days - which were hot and very good.
