Thursday 18th September 2025 | 09:30 am to 12:30 pm (lunch to follow) | Ad Gefrin
On Thursday, September 18th, discover the hidden treasures of the natural world on a guided Foraging Walk at Wooler Common, beginning and ending at Ad Gefrin.
Led by Rachel, from Among the Woods and Waters, this immersive three-mile walk will follow part of St Cuthbert’s Way, taking you through some of the most beautiful scenery in Northumberland. Starting at 9:30 am, you’ll learn how plants, trees and fungi were once used, develop skills in identifying local species, and enjoy a taste of our Thirlings Dry Gin in the great outdoors. Tickets for the guided walk are priced at £30 per person.
Afterwards, return to Ad Gefrin at around 12:30 pm for an optional themed seasonal lunch, available for an additional £18 per person, the perfect way to round off your morning.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended. To book, please email Rachel at [email protected].
