Northumberland is easy to reach by air with two international airports close by.
Newcastle International Airport is only 15 miles (25 minutes drive) from Morpeth and 34 miles (45 minutes drive) from Alnwick and welcomes regular flights from across the world including direct Emirates flights from Australia and New Zealand.
Durham Tees Valley International Airportt is located slightly further south 56 miles (70 minutes drive) from Morpeth.
Bus

Drive to Northumberland
Northumberland has fantastic access from Scotland and the south via the A1 London to Edinburgh motorway running the length of the county.
The A69 and A66 connect to the M6 and the A19 provides an alternative route from the south, linking the Port of Tyne to Northumberland.
