Get ready for round two of festive fun at Rigg & Furrow as The Forage Market returns on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December - bringing a completely new line-up of independent makers, designers and food vendors to the cosy End Hemmel barn in Acklington, Northumberland.

The Forage team are back with a Christmas edition designed to surprise and delight returning visitors and first-timers alike. Over 50 handpicked local creatives will transform the barn into a festive marketplace filled with unique gifts, artisan wares, seasonal treats, and design-led treasures — the perfect destination for thoughtful Christmas shopping.

Founded by creative duo Ellie Davison-Archer and Steven Eyles, the Forage Market has quickly grown into one of the region’s most loved events - attracting over 3,000 visitors per market. It’s a place where makers, creatives, and curious shoppers can connect, celebrate craftsmanship, and enjoy that special festive feeling that only comes from buying direct from the people who made it.

And the magic doesn’t stop at the market! Once you’ve filled your tote bag, stay on the farm to enjoy the Rigg & Furrow taproom, serving artisan-brewed drinks, alongside a tempting line-up of local street food - the perfect way to toast the season.

Entry to the market is just £2 (Under 16s & dogs go FREE!). That includes free parking, free raffle entry, and a good dose of festive goodwill as a percentage of all entry fee profits will be donated to Amble Food Bank.
