Dress up warm and spend the day exploring our unique, outdoor theatrical experience set in the stunning and award-winning Kielder Water and Forest Park in Northumberland. The whole family will enjoy embracing the spirit of Christmas at Kielder Winter Wonderland, but our activities are most suitable for children between the ages of three and ten.
New for 2025 are the traditional carousel and helter skelter rides to make visitors of all ages dizzy with excitement. Your full day at Kielder Winter Wonderland will include everything from helping in the elves' workshop to walking through the enchanted forest to find Father Christmas and his festive friends – you never know who you could bump into! You will be entertained at the Christmas theatre, enjoy a song and dance display with The Beavers and meet the reindeer in training for Christmas. Children will meet Father Christmas, and you can choose to have a special letter sent from him to your child as a memento of their magical day.
Kielder Waterside is home to luxury lodges all set in 250 square miles of stunning Northumberland countryside, which are available to book for a weekend stay to enhance your Winter Wonderland experience. Our site is accessible for wheelchair users and those requiring a flatter path, and there are pram parks for families to stow pushchairs and prams where there is not space to enter with them.

* Kielder Winter Wonderland is a full day experience. Times will be allocated to you when you book your tickets.
* We recommend you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your first activity to allow time to get on site and for any delays and traffic.
* The site opens from 9.30am to allow the first groups of the day onsite. Activities such as the festive rides begin from 10am. The site shuts at 5pm.
* Saturday 15 November is our day of relaxed performances for families living with additional needs.
