The countdown is almost over for Lindisfarne Festival 2026, with organisers revealing the final stage times, opening information and everything festivalgoers need to know ahead of its return to the spectacular Northumberland coast from 3–5 September.

And for anyone still thinking about joining the Pilgrims, it is not too late – but time is running out.

Just 500 tickets remain for what is officially the fastest-selling Lindisfarne Festival in its history, with the award-winning independent festival now tracking towards a complete sell-out.

More than 250 artists, DJs and performers will descend on Beal Farm, overlooking Holy Island, across three days and nights, with The Proclaimers, Faithless and Razorlight leading the biggest programme in the festival's history.

This year Lindisfarne expands to nine stages, including the arrival of the brand-new Disgraceland, alongside its largest-ever wellbeing area, camping and glamping options and a packed programme stretching well beyond the headline performances.

At the top of the bill, The Proclaimers, Faithless and Razorlight will headline across the three days, leading an eclectic line-up that also includes Soul II Soul, Elvana, Tide Lines, Professor Green, Heather Small, Utah Saints, Ferocious Dog, The Amy Winehouse Band, Talisk, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, New York Brass Band, Bombskare, SNAYX, The Rosadocs and Bar Stool Preachers.

Lindisfarne will also continue its tradition of championing some of the hottest emerging talent from the North East and beyond. Among them are Sunderland five-piece Swindled, who have enjoyed a breakthrough 2026 after being championed by BBC Radio 1 and appearing at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Sunderland, alongside fellow fast-rising North East acts Leazes and Bear Park, plus Finn Forster and a host of new artists to discover across the weekend.

Stage times revealed
The full Lindisfarne Festival 2026 stage times have now been released, allowing festivalgoers to start plotting their weekend across all nine stages.

There will be music from 3pm until 1am on Thursday, before the festival moves into full swing on Friday and Saturday with entertainment running from mid-morning right through until 4am.

The complete stage timetable accompanies this release, while an updated festival site map showcasing the expanded 2026 layout and new areas will also be released ahead of the event.

Getting to Lindisfarne Festival
Lindisfarne Festival takes place at Beal Farm, Northumberland, on the mainland opposite Holy Island – approximately 50 miles north of Newcastle, eight miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed and 65 miles south of Edinburgh.

The festival site enjoys spectacular views across the Northumberland coastline towards the island.

Festival arrival times are:

Thursday 3 September: 11am–8.30pm
Friday 4 September: 11am–8.30pm
Saturday 5 September: 9am–8.30pm
Those travelling by train should use Berwick-upon-Tweed, which sits on the East Coast Main Line between London King's Cross and Edinburgh. Festival shuttle bus services will operate from Berwick station.

For those travelling by car, the festival postcode is TD15 2PB, although drivers should follow festival directional signage from the A1 to ensure they arrive at the correct entrance.

Camping, glamping and parking
Weekend tickets include camping, while glamping and campervan options are also available for those looking for a different festival experience.

Parking is chargeable, with festivalgoers strongly advised to pre-book parking online, where passes are available at a lower price than paying on arrival. On-the-day parking costs more and remains subject to availability.

The campsite is a relatively short walk from the car park, generally ranging from around two to ten minutes depending on parking and camping location.

Organisers are encouraging visitors where possible to travel by public transport, use the Berwick shuttle service or car share to help reduce the environmental impact of the festival.

Important fire safety update

• Following a very dry summer and recent wildfires in the local area, organisers have introduced additional fire-safety measures for 2026.
• BBQs of any kind, liquid or solid-fuel stoves and camping or BBQ candles will not be permitted anywhere on site.
• These restrictions are in addition to the festival's existing ban on fire pits and generators.
• Gas camping stoves remain permitted provided the gas canister is under 600g.
• Festivalgoers who smoke are also being asked to take particular care and ensure cigarettes are fully extinguished and disposed of safely.
• Organisers say the temporary measures have been introduced with the safety of festivalgoers, staff and the surrounding Northumberland countryside as the overriding priority and are asking everyone attending to support and cooperate with the changes.

Food and drink
Festivalgoers can bring a reasonable amount of alcohol for personal consumption into the campsite, but alcohol cannot be taken from the campsite into the main festival arena.

Excessive quantities may be confiscated where security believes alcohol is being brought onto site for resale.

Glass is strictly prohibited across the festival site, while excessive quantities of spirits are also not permitted.

Inside the festival, visitors will find licensed bars alongside an expanded artisan food offering throughout the weekend.

More than the music
While more than 250 artists form the heart of this year's programme, Lindisfarne 2026 will also feature its largest wellbeing area to date, giving festivalgoers somewhere to recharge between the late nights and live music.

Sessions including sunrise yoga, relaxation workshops and other wellbeing experiences will run across the weekend, alongside comedy, spoken word, immersive walkabout performances and late-night entertainment.

The combination of music, camping and glamping, wellbeing and its unique location overlooking Holy Island has helped Lindisfarne build its reputation as one of the North East's most distinctive independent festivals.

Lindisfarne Festival remains a strictly 18+ event.

Chairs are welcome within the main arena area but cannot be positioned within or directly in front of entrances and exits to music venues.

Accessibility
Lindisfarne Festival welcomes disabled festivalgoers and will make reasonable adjustments to support visitors wherever possible.

As the event takes place in open countryside, areas of the site are naturally uneven, although organisers use flatter routes wherever possible to improve accessibility for wheelchair users.

A dedicated accessible viewing platform is located at the Shorefields Stage, available on a first-come, first-served basis to wheelchair users and their companions.

Accessible toilets are located within the campsite, live-in vehicle field and festival arena, although there are no accessible showers.

Subject to availability, guests with accessibility requirements can also arrange camping and parking closer to the festival arena. Visitors requiring these facilities are strongly advised to contact the festival team in advance via [email protected], as access cannot be guaranteed for those arriving without prior arrangements.

Eligible disabled visitors requiring assistance may also apply for a free Carer Ticket by contacting the festival team.

With the tents almost ready, the stages set and only around 500 tickets remaining, organisers are now preparing to welcome thousands of Pilgrims back to Beal Farm for what is shaping up to be the biggest Lindisfarne Festival yet.
