Field to Fork Farm Tour

If you’re looking for something a bit different to do whilst holidaying on the Northumberland Coast or you live locally and are interested in knowing more about farming and where your food comes from then look no further!

We are running a limited number of farm tours this season, with the dates shown below.

Come and see what is involved in growing the food that ends up on your plate and hear the stories behind the various enterprises that form our business.

The food we grow gets turned into everything from a humble crisp to dishes served up in a three-star Michelin restaurant.

What to expect 

• a meet the maker/grower experience
• a history of the farm, the surrounding area and how the various enterprises came about 
• learn how our Oil and Vinegar ended up on national TV and the impact it has had
• a very practical insight into modern farming and its challenges
• learn about sustainable farming methods 
• sample some heritage potatoes, a local sourdough made with Seabanks rapeseed oil, a lemon oil cake, raspberry vinegar described as “amazing” by James Martin and of course our very more-ish crisps
• refreshments are available.  

The farm steading is surfaced although certain parts may be uneven. We will be walking through fields and the tour might involve climbing 2 small steps. If you have any accessibility requirements please get in touch beforehand so that we can discuss.

Ticket price is £20 which includes a £5 voucher per booking party to spend in our farm shop. 

Children under the age of 14 are free to attend if they come with a paying adult and free ticket spaces are available. Young children must be supervised at all times. Not all parts of the tour are accessible for buggies/prams.  

Well behaved dogs can accompany us on part of the tour but they cannot access food preparation areas. 

An email will be sent out to all attendees a few days before the event to email addresses used during the booking process to confirm all the details and meeting information. Please check your spam filters for these emails.
