The Tempus Tipi - Indian Summer Soiree

Following the success of its recent Mexican and Spanish Summer Soirée’, The Tipi at The Tempus is inviting guests to enjoy a taste of India with a special Indian Summer Soirée taking place on Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July 2026.

Running from 4pm until 10pm on both evenings, the event will transform The Tipi into a vibrant and relaxed setting, complete with Indian-inspired food specials, refreshing cocktails and live entertainment.

Guests can enjoy a specially curated menu from the Tempus Estate Kitchen, inspired by the rich and aromatic flavours of India. Highlights include a chicken tikka naan wrap served with mint yoghurt and gunpowder fries, butter chicken loaded fries topped with crispy bhaji bits, and crispy onion bhajis served with mango chutney and mint yoghurt. These Indian-inspired specials will be available throughout the weekend, alongside a range of summer cocktails and refreshing drinks designed to complement the occasion.

Live music will set the tone on Friday evening, with Charlotte Soulsby performing in The Tipi from 5.30pm, while Saturday will feature The Tipi's specially curated playlist all throughout the evening, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxed summer night with friends and family.

The themed weekends have become a popular feature of The Tipi's summer programme, welcoming visitors from across the region and establishing the venue as one of Northumberland's most unique outdoor social spaces.

Set within the grounds of The Tempus near Alnwick, The Tipi offers a unique indoor-outdoor experience complete with fire pits, festoon lighting and relaxed seating, making it the ideal setting for summer gatherings.

Entry is free and no booking is required. Guests are welcome to simply turn up and enjoy the atmosphere.
