Aramis smells really nice, because he's named after an aftershave!
Join us at The Straw Yard for a summer romp of daring-do and gay abandon as our heroes, the Three Musketeers take on the dastardly Comte de Rochefort, the tasty Lord De Brie, and the rather boring, Mr Cheddar, all under the direction of the villainous Cardinal Richelieu who for some reason wants to rule France, of all places! Joining our heroes on their adventure is their work experience placement, d'Artagnan as they try to get through the script, the costume changes, and the overly complicated direction.
Fun for all the family, you can expect silly accents, terrible puns, and more false moustaches than you'd find at a Freddy Mercury look-a-like contest.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the occasion. Umbrella's will be useless, as this is Berwick. To mitigate this problem we have decided to produce this show in the summer...but as previously mentioned...this is Berwick.
SEATS WILL BE PROVIDED
Feel free to bring your own picnics. Please try not to feed the actors...although they may feel compelled to steal from you as they don't get paid very much.
We will have a bar that serves alcoholic, non-alcoholic and hot drinks. The show is much funnier after a few glasses of wine, and coincidentally, the actors will appear to be much more attractive as well.
This is a family friendly show, so any entendre (double or otherwise) will go over the childrens' heads...but if it doesn't then you really should start to question your approach to parenting.
Whilst the wearing of comedy moustaches is not compulsory...it is positively encouraged!
