Tynemouth Station Book Fair is a free, lively and friendly event held on four Sundays each year, on the West Concourse of Tynemouth’s historic Victorian station.
Browse stalls packed with secondhand and collectable books, and pick up something new to read for the price of a coffee. From 2026 the fair is run by North Tyneside Art Studio.
Selling books? Stalls are available from £35. Contact the organisers to book a pitch.
Make a day of it. Head north up the coast to Seaton Delaval Hall or the beach at Blyth, or explore more of Northumberland’s coastline.
