Spring Arts' Expo - Art at Paxton
Sat 28th March - Sunday 29th March 2026 | 10am - 4pm | Paxton House, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 1SZ
Spring Arts' Expo takes place over two days on Sat and Sun, March 28-29, to coincide with the re-opening of Paxton House for its 2026 season. It is the first in a series of arts' events across the year, organised at Paxton by The Tin Shed.
The Arts' Expo is a pop-up showcase of 14 local artists and makers, in the recently refurbished Ballroom (formerly the Portrait Gallery) entered off the café courtyard. Most of the talented artists taking part are from the Scottish Borders and north Northumberland and include everything from original paintings, illustrations, prints, to ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery and leather work. There will also be free demos throughout the event, making it a great opportunity to meet the artists and makers, and find out more about their work. Entry to the event is free.
Paxton House and grounds are open as usual to visitors and the beautiful tea rooms will be serving up a delicious range of cakes, bakes and refreshments. Access to the Ballroom is via two entrances off the central courtyard next to the cafe, Hayloft Gallery and gift shop. There is also a lift for anyone who may struggle with the stairs and is wheelchair accessible.
