A much-loved Northumberland makers’ market is returning this spring as The Forage Market takes over the End Hemmel barn at Rigg & Furrow farm this Easter weekend.
Taking place on Good Friday 3rd April and Easter Saturday 4th April, the two-day market will bring together more than 40 independent makers, designers and food vendors, transforming the rustic barn in Acklington into a vibrant celebration of local creativity, craftsmanship and seasonal food.
Visitors can expect a carefully curated mix of handmade goods, design-led products, artisan food and unique gifts - making it the perfect way to spend a spring day browsing, discovering new makers and supporting local businesses.
Founded by creative duo Ellie Davison-Archer and Steven Eyles, The Forage Market has quickly become one of the region’s most popular independent markets, attracting more than 3,000 visitors at each event. It’s a place where makers, creatives and curious shoppers come together to celebrate craftsmanship, support local businesses and enjoy the buzz of a creative community gathering as the seasons change.
And the experience doesn’t stop at the market. Once you’ve filled your tote bag, stay on the farm to enjoy the Rigg & Furrow taproom, serving artisan-brewed drinks, alongside a tempting line-up of local street food - the perfect way to relax and make the most of the long Easter weekend.
Entry to the market is £2, (under 16’s, carers and dogs admitted free). The ticket price includes free parking, raffle entry and a donation to charity. Grab your tickets in advance at www.foragelifestyle.com or pay on the door upon arrival. Taproom is free entry.
