Mann and Moon Studios - Leather Craft Experience

Create something beautiful, learn a new skill and enjoy a relaxed private leather crafting experience.

Join us for a friendly, informative and hands-on leather crafting experience in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.  Whether you're completely new to leatherwork or simply keen to try something different, you'll learn the basics, practice practical techniques and create your own handmade leather items to take home.

During the experience, you'll discover how to work with leather and have the opportunity to put your new skills into practice through making a leather keyring and either a belt, dog collar or bracelet - perfect for yourself, your four-legged friend or as a unique handmade gift.

Choose a date and time that suits you and come along with a friend, partner or family member.  You'll have our countryside studio to yourselves.  You'll be guided throughout the experience, with plenty of time to learn, experiment and enjoy the process.  Everything you need is provided on the day including all leather, hardware and other materials.

Our leather crafting experiences are designed to be enjoyable as well as educational.  They're deliberately small (2 - 6 people) so you can get a personal tuition rather than a standard class.  Take a break with a cup of tea or coffee and some homemade cake (included in the price).  Weather permitting, relax in the garden.

We're delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs into our leather craft workshop whilst you learn a new skill - and perhaps even make them a collar!  Your dog can relax on a comfy bed whilst you enjoy the course.  A maximum of two dogs allowed and dogs aren't permitted in the kitchen area.

Experiences can be arranged for any day of the week or weekend, either morning or afternoon, making them ideal for a day out with friends, a special occasion or simply something new to try together.

We're are based in Whittingham, just a 10 minute drive from Alnwick and approximately one hour from Newcastle.  The nearest train station is Alnmouth, a 20 minute drive away and buses also run from Alnwick.
