Coastguard Cottage
Situated in the beautiful fishing village of Craster, which boasts both The Jolly Fisherman gastro pub and The Shoreline Café, this gorgeous four-bedroom cottage is a great base for up to eight people. The cottage has ample living space. Externally, venture along the shared pathway to access the raised deck and garden to take in the majestic views of the bustling harbour and coast.
It is conveniently located close to local amenities and some of Northumberland's fabulous historic attractions such as the smoke house for the famous Craster kippers, Dunstanburgh Castle and Howick Hall; with the Town of Alnwick being 15 minutes away; Seahouses, with boat trips to the Farne Islands to see puffins, seals and more, is 15 minutes along the coast in the other direction.
If you are a beach lover, there is a small beach in Craster Harbour, but Embleton Bay is a long stretch of golden sand overlooked by the dramatic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and is either a couple of miles of lovely walk across the headland, or a 5 minute drive around.
Running behind the beach is the Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club and a little way beyond this, the medieval village of Embleton.

If you are wanting a more snug stay then the Cottage can be used as The Coastguard's Snug which is a lovely well-proportioned ground floor, one-bedroom property for up to two guests.
