Just a stone’s throw from Derwent Reservoir and Derwent Waterpark, and ideally located along the Coast to Coast cycle route, the inn is perfectly placed for walkers, cyclists and anyone looking to escape into the countryside. After a day exploring the surrounding landscapes, our comfortable accommodation provides a cosy retreat where you can relax and recharge.
The Derwent Arms has six newly refurbished cosy bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Rooms include fresh towels, a flat-screen Freeview TV, alarm clock radio and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy Notes of Northumberland luxury toiletries, together with an assortment of Ringtons coffee and biscuits in their room.
For families and groups, a separate apartment is also available, sleeping up to six people – ideal for longer stays or those travelling together.
Breakfast is included in all room rates. A continental breakfast is available on Mondays and Tuesdays, with a choice of hot breakfast options served from Wednesday to Sunday.
We can also arrange a range of thoughtful extras on request, including morning newspapers, flowers, chocolates and Prosecco – perfect for making a stay extra special.
