Running from 5th to 11th October 2026, the week marks the fourth Restaurant Week since the initiative began in March 2025. It brings together restaurants, cafés, pubs and takeaway businesses for a celebration of the people, passion and hard work behind local hospitality.
From a meal with friends to a coffee and catch-up, or a takeaway after a busy day, Restaurant Week aims to showcase the different ways people enjoy local food and the important role these businesses play in the community.
Held over a week, it’s perfect for both locals and visitors to explore all that Hexham has to offer at affordable prices. The initiative is not simply about promoting dining out. It is about recognising the people who work hard behind the scenes, celebrating the diversity of the local food scene and encouraging residents to support the businesses that make Hexham and Tynedale unique.
