Join us for a thrilling weekend of live jousting at Bamburgh Castle with the incredible Knights of Royal England – back by popular demand!

Watch brave knights on horseback battle it out in an action-packed show filled with stunts, sword fights, and medieval drama. It’s the perfect Father’s Day treat and a fun day out for the whole family!

The Arena Opens at 1:00 PM with the Jousting Show starting at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Book your tickets via our events page- admission to Bamburgh Castle is included in the ticket price. Select who is coming and then select the date (either the 20th or 21st June 2026)

Tickets must be pre-booked – limited availability and selling fast!  HHA members – this is a special event at Bamburgh Castle and HHA members need to purchase tickets for this event.

It takes place in the West Ward of Bamburgh Castle, where you can enjoy the stunning views, open-air setting, and plenty of space.  Please note that seating is not provided. Please bring your own picnic blankets or camping chairs to sit on. There are a limited number of picnic benches around the West Ward, which will be first come first served. Please do not sit on any of the Castle walls during the performance.

Dogs allowed (short leads only), but not in the front rows.  This event is weather dependent – may be cancelled if weather makes it unsafe
