A fabulous evening of fine food and fanciful tales bringing to life two historical literary gems. Dating back to 1834, the first ‘Tales of the Borders’ were published weekly by John Mackay Wilson (JMW) then Editor of the Berwick Advertiser were the equivalent of today’s soap operas.
On this occasion the three course dinner will be the backdrop for performances of ‘The Mistake’ – a tale of mistaken assumptions, love triangles and a goat and an adaptation of ‘The Domestic Griefs of Gustavus McIver' a tale which centres on a love of whisky. Welcome Drink included and a three course meal.
