Easter Egg Hunts for Northumberland Easter Holidays

Explore Wallington Hall’s Easter trail around the Courtyard and West Wood. Can you leap like a lamb, hop like a hare, spring like a squirrel, or even belly flop like a beaver before collecting your egg. The trail takes place 3–12 April 2026, from 10am to 4pm, giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy the grounds and take part in one of the most popular Easter events Northumberland offers.

You’re in for a treat at Seaton Delaval Hall. Make your way along the trail and discover activities for the whole family. The trail runs Wednesday 1 – Sunday 19 April, from 10am to 5pm (last entry 4:15pm), giving visitors plenty of time to explore the gardens and grounds during the Northumberland Easter holidays.

Join Warkworth Castle for a cracking adventure quest and hunt for clues in the grounds, track down Easter eggs and explore the castle | 28 March - 19 April - 10.00-16.00.

Hunt for Easter eggs while you admire the buttery daffodils of Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, searching for clues and tracking down chocolate treats | 28 March - 19 April - 10.00-17.00.

Combine Easter with ancient history on the Easter quest at Chesters Roman Fort, where you can search for Easter Eggs amongst the ruins | 28 March - 19 April - 10.00-16.00.

Celebrate Easter with Lilidorei. The Legend of the Golden Eggs is a tale long told in this magical village. Each year, the clans honour the story with golden egg hunts, giant birds, and the arrival of new life throughout the village. | 3 - 19 April - 10.00 - 18.00.

Nevermind Easter eggs, join Warrior School at Bamburgh Castle this Easter, as well as joining a number of other family friendly activities. From 3 April.

There’s also plenty of spring adventures to enjoy at Cragside House and Gardens over Easter weekend, with the full site open including the play area, labyrinth and den building, plus waymarked walks like the Rocky Ramble and Nelly’s Moss Lakes.
