Really nice meal after Winter Wonderland

We came here as a family for a meal after a day at the nearby Winter Wonderland. I asked about the availability of gluten free on their menu. There was a couple of things that I could have, not a massive choice but both appealing options. I opted for the Chicken Kiev pizza on a gluten free base, everyone else opted for a few lighter bite plates to share. The Chicken Kiev pizza was absolutely lovely, a really nice base and packed with garlic and chicken. I was very impressed. Staff went out of their way to help me out and they were very helpful. I would most certainly return here, I'd probably have the Chicken Kiev pizza too!
A warming surprise

We were at the Winter Wonderland Event which is well worth a visit and decided we needed to warm up and eat. With it being a Sunday they had the Cavary on. It was delicious, my husband and I had the main cavary and there is a vegetarian option. There was plenty of meat and veg choice. Our daughter doesn't do cooked veg so she had the childrens cavary which consisted of Chips, Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers and Hot Dogs. Children can lso have the main cavary if they want this is just additional. She ate the lot and even commented on the chips being the best fat chips she had ever had. Our compliments to the Chef. We did not have a dessert we were too full, and we didnt see the normal menu but if it is anything like the Cavary it won't disappoint. The Pub has amazing views of the Reservoir and is beautiful inside, and very warm.

Great walk called in as heard it was dog friendly. Food was look warm and could cook a better burger at home, no taste at all really not impressed, and over priced at what you got ,frozen chips what a disappointment. Only good thing was you could take the dog in and the staff were great.wont be back in a hurry.
