This English Heritage converted 17th century bunkhouse offers group accommodation overlooking the remains of the Roman Fort and has a maximum capacity of 37 people. It has seven bedrooms, many with original fireplace features. Each bedroom sleeping 2 - 8 persons is fitted with bunk beds, a wash hand basin, and full central heating. One room has an en suite shower room; all the others have their own individual shower room near to the bedroom. Each shower room consists of a WC, wash hand basin and shower. A disabled bedroom with en suite facilities is available on the ground floor of the bunkhouse.

As part of your stay there is a large farmhouse kitchen with two Aga cookers plenty or fridge space and dishwashers for groups to use. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room, which overlooks the exposed ruins of the fort. In the dining room there are folding dining tables ensuring space for groups to sit and relax after meals or upon large scatter cushions if desired.

Choose to stay on a self-catering basis and make the most of the kitchen or allow our catering staff to provide meals for you from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Make use of the laundry room with washing and drying machines and space to let your clothes dry.
