Join us for a vibrant Mexican-themed weekend at The Tempus. On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May, we’re bringing bold flavours, live music, and a relaxed social atmosphere together for two special evenings designed for sharing, celebrating, and enjoying great food with great company.

Our menu is packed with crowd favourites and comforting classics with a twist — from loaded nachos topped with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and pico de gallo, to rich and flavourful birria beef tacos served with cheese, pickled onion and beef consommé. You’ll also find spicy chicken tacos with cooling sour cream and pickled onion, and crispy halloumi tacos finished with a hot honey glaze for the perfect sweet-heat balance.

Across both evenings, guests can enjoy live music to set the tone. On Friday, Jo McGarry will perform. On Saturday, we’re especially excited to welcome the local Alnwick Allstars Choir at 7:00pm — a real highlight of the weekend and a celebration of local community talent that we’re proud to showcase.

This is a relaxed, walk-in friendly event, perfect for catching up with friends, enjoying a lively evening out, or simply trying something a little different.

Food is available to purchase, entry to the tipi and live music is free of charge.
