Our mission at the Northern Artisans’ Market is to introduce as many people as possible to the amazingly diverse range of skills and talent that is here in the North of England and Scottish Borders.
In a world where everything is fast moving we want to slow down that pace and start again to enjoy and understand the power of handmade. We want to enhance the shopping experience by awakening all of the senses. To meet the makers and learn about their work and the inspiration and stories behind it.
Lighting up Chatton Village Hall will be 13 artisans. On show will be wildlife art, studio glass, silver jewellery, brass and copper art work and home wares, ceramics, pyrography ,candles, paper flower art, textiles, millinery, graphic art, photographic art and flight weaving all washed down with homemade sweet treats and refreshments in our signature on site pop up cafe allowing the visitor to linger longer and soak up the creative atmosphere.
