The Neighbourhood
The apartment sits just one street back from the beautiful beach at Spittal along a pedestrian lane. Its a wonderful place for a stroll and if you're feeling very brave a dip in the bracing waters of the North Sea! The Northumberland Coastal path passes by towards the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. The apartment is in a largely residential area but there are some great pubs to enjoy only a short walk away.

Spittal / Berwick upon Tweed is a historic border town which has retained its individuality and charm with its age-old street market, quaint family run shops and boutiques and authentic pubs and ale-houses. The Curfew Bar and The Barrels are recommended. There are many lovely restaurants offering wonderful locally sourced produce including cheeses, game and shellfish. Enjoy exploring the Elizabethan walls or follow in the footsteps of the artist L.S. Lowry and amble along the Lowry Trail.
