The Byre, The Granary and the Stable are three feature filled stone self catering holiday cottages, converted from former farm buildings. Situated a quarter of a mile down a private drive and overlooking the River Aln. Just one mile away is the historic and picturesque town of Alnwick with its cobbled streets, busy market place, and a wide variety of shops and eating places. The Castle and the spectacular Gardens are also within a few minutes drive or a interesting walk along the banks of the River Aln for the more energetic (approx 2 miles)
From A1: Take exit off A1 sign-posted for Alnwick. Head straight over the first roundabout and carry on along south road until the roundabout at the Oaks Hotel. Take the 3rd exit so you are heading east along the A1068 towards Alnmouth from Alnwick. A few metres past the speed de-restriction sign turn left down the track.
Directions going East on A1068 from Alnmouth/ Lesbury, when approaching Alnwick turn right down track at the Alnwick blue sign. The Bog Mill Holiday Cottages sign will be visible at the top of the track.
The Granary is the first property you come to at the bottom of the track and parking is on the right at the bottom of the track.
The Byre is the cottage with the feature Arched Windows, the parking space is clearly marked in the corner next to the conifer hedge.
The Stable is all the way around the other cottages and parking next to the Stable's wooden gates.
