Wonderfolk at Woodhorn, a new interactive family trail opening this summer
Woodhorn Museum has a new interactive family trail opening at the start of the school holidays!
Visitors will meet Professor Parkyr, a world expert in unexplained underground life forms, and with the help of a magical miner’s lamp will go on a special mission to track down and uncover the stories and secrets of the Wonderfolk - magical, mythical creatures hidden underground among the coal seams.
Using this kind of technology (the lamp will do all sorts of weird and wonderful things like talk you around the tour and project animations to help solve clues) is something brand new for Woodhorn, so we'd be really interested to know what you think of it so we can factor feedback into future planning for family activities
