The forthcoming half term holiday will be the last opportunity for visitors to enjoy the colourful Brick Dinos exhibition at Woodhorn. The exhibition will close its doors for the very last time on Sunday 4th June.
Thousands of people from all over the North East and beyond have visited the show created by LEGO expert Warren Elsmore since its opening back in February. Elsmore and his team worked in collaboration with expert palaeontologists to recreate in miniature LEGO® brick form, some of the largest beasts ever to walk the earth. Visitors are given the opportunity to come face to face with dinosaurs from the air, sea and land.
Kids’ craft activities over the half term also have a dinosaur feel with an opportunity to create and hatch your very own “baby dinosaur”. These sessions will be available from Saturday 27th – Sunday 4th June between 11am – 3.30pm.
There’s still the opportunity to see the exhibition in an Early Bird Quiet Visit to Brick Dinos too. The last session for families with children who have an Autism Spectrum Condition to come along and enjoy the Brick Dinos exhibition without the hustle and bustle of the general public, will be on Sunday 28th May. Doors open at 9.00am and remain available exclusively to pre-booked visitors until 10.00am to allow families the opportunity to fully explore the exhibition and its interactives. To book or enquire about this session, please call 01670 624455.
