The annual Christmas Lights Switch On takes place on Saturday November 14th and for the second year running Stratstone BMW Tyneside are supporting the popular event.
The Stratstone team will have lots of festive goodies to give away during the afternoon as well as 2,000 Santa hats. And this year youngsters will also have the chance to come and meet Santa who will transforming the boot of the new BMW X1 into a Christmas grotto.
Hosted by Heart Radio presenters Justin and Kelly, a packed afternoon of festive fun will take place from 2:30pm with lots of games, activities and giveaways.
Shoppers will have the chance to win some great prizes throughout the day until 5:30pm, last year’s X-Factor finalist and north east girl Lola Saunders will be performing for the crowds before switching the lights on at 5:00pm.
The Tree of Light will also officially be opened at the event giving people the chance to write special Christmas messages to much loved friends and family members they have lost.
Centre Manager Medi Parry said: “Our Christmas Lights Switch On is an important date in the Arcade’s diary and we are delighted to have Stratstone BMW Tyneside supporting the event again this year.
“We’ve got some great plans to make it even bigger and better than last year and we’re looking forward to welcoming a great crowd to the Arcade with a fantastic line up of events and entertainment – and of course the famous Stratstone Santa hats!”
